11. Proposal for Kansas City Presentation of your Project: (Describe in detail).

The first part of my presentation in Kansas City will be a lecture for the ceramics department at KCAI and recent grads of ceramic programs who might be interested in applying for the Network Program.  This will take place on Friday, April 4, 2008, at the Kansas City Art Institute.  This roughly 45 minute presentation will cover my activities of the last year since graduating from KCAI and leaving Kansas City, including the set-up of my own studio in Philadelphia, and my travel and work in Hungary in Fall of 2007.  However, the primary focus of the lecture will be the Network Program and Guldagergaard.  I will describe the program, show my own work from the program, and talk about the numerous opportunities that have resulted from my participation in the project.  I will also talk about the LIAEP grant as the means that allowed me to participate in the project.  In this way, I hope to develop a continuing relationship between the Kansas City arts community and Guldagergaard.
